LaToya Cofield-Martin, APRN, AGNP-BC
LaToya Martin is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and has worked in the healthcare industry for over 21 years. Within Kidney Specialists of Georgia, her job includes visiting patients in the greater Atlanta area dealing with dialysis, chronic kidney disease and hypertension.
LaToya earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Florida in 2000. Due to her affinity to help others, LaToya obtained her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Walden University in 2013. As a RN, she consumed immeasurable skills and a knowledge base that led to the position as a nurse supervisor. This avidity for learning more in her field led her to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2018.
LaToya has lived in the Atlanta area the past twenty years. During this time, she has worked within renal oncology, surgical services, endoscopy and nephrology. She enjoys spending time with her husband, and children. Her combined experience and passion for caring for others ensures that each patient she consults with receives positive outcomes and individualized care.
